We are delighted to announce that we received 9,224 entries from 75 countries to the SanDisk 'Spot the Ducati Bike' competition.
The test of skill element required consumers to correctly identify the grid square where an independent judge believed that a MotoGP bike rider in 2nd place would have been located when the photograph shown on the promotional website was taken. From all the valid entries, 3 competitors correctly matched the grid square chosen by the independent judge – B16.
The tiebreakers of these 3 entrants were then reviewed by a second independent judge and she deemed the best answer to the tiebreaker 'create the most appropriate and unique name for a SanDisk/Ducati motorbike' to be 'SanCati'.
The winner of the competition was Mr N Myburgh, from South Africa. He has chosen to receive a Red model of the Ducati 1098 Superbike awarded as the prize for this promotion
